61 Oxford Street shortlisted for NLA Award
May 2016
We are very pleased to announce that our landmark development at 61 Oxford Street has been shortlisted for the 2016 New London Architecture Awards in the Mixed-Use category.
Designed by Stirling Prize winning architects Alford Hall Monahagn Morris, the project involved the demolition of a collection of buildings on the corner of Oxford Street and Soho Street which were replaced with an 8 storey waved glass structure, a prominent corner beacon.
The scheme comprises 35,000 sq ft of prime retail space occupied by Spanish retailer, Zara, two floors of Grade A office space and six high quality residential apartments with the design taking inspiration from the well-known 1930’s Alto Vase.
Winners will be announced at the New London Architecture Annual Lunch on 7 July at the Guildhall.
